PRIDE 2023 STATEMENT RE-UPLOAD
I took this post down to give me time to think about if what I said was truly right, the times now come to say I haven't changed my mind on this so here's my statement for pride 2023... I still stand by this statement.
FIRSTLY TO START WITH SOME FUN! HERE'S 113 SATANIC & S2LGBTQIA+ SONGS I MADE FOR A SPECIAL TEAM OF PEOPLE

The Devil and S2LGBTQIA+ community have always been linked, whether we like it or not we've always been a hot topic when it comes to Satan and our sexuality, even extending to a rise in our depictions in the horror genres of the 70's and even more of a hot topic in the middle ages during the inquisition... My witches cackle would certainly have me tied up to a pole and tortured... And not in a good way! Yet putting jokes aside, the origins of the word "faggot" as a derogatory term for gay men are not entirely clear, but there are several theories, the one that points to the most evidence of origin is being that it comes from the Old French word "fagot," which means a bundle of sticks. In medieval times, bundles of sticks were used as kindling for fires, and it is thought that the term "faggot" was used to refer to people who were seen as disposable or worthless, much like kindling, we weren't even worth being burnt to save our soul, we were the little twigs under the fire, never thought of, never good enough. It's information like this that I've come across recently by starting to writing a book based on the link between homosexuality and Satan. So from this post forward I'll be focusing a lot more on this topic. The Satanic Temple and the S2LGBTQIA+ community have always been entwined, one of our first political rituals performed was named ‘The Pink Mass’ in 2013, this political ritual was a direct response to WBBC (The Westboro Baptist Church) stating that Massachusetts in America was bombed by terrorists as they were the first state to legalise Gay Marriage insinuating that the victims deserved this act of horrendous fanaticism. I also personally like to see the ritual as a general response to how our queer community is viewed under the lens of extreme Christianity, ’The Pink Mass’ involved two same sex couples kissing over the grave of leader of WBBC’s mother to change her sexuality in the afterlife, too us Satanists the belief in an afterlife is fictional but to the far right christian group WBBC, this was all too real. By embracing the symbolism of Satan we are using the adversary as a symbol of liberation. perfect for the fight for equality against arbitrary authority. Being affiliated and not representative of The Satanic Temple, our seven tenets remind me to have compassion, wisdom, and justice to serve as a guiding principle for noble action and thought.

Our S2LGBTQIA+ community strives to challenge oppressive systems, promote inclusivity, and create a society that really does value and respects all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Remember to embrace actions that some Christians would call ‘sinful behaviour’. Our lives are not sinful for loving ourselves and each other, it’s as simple as that. With the pursuit to separate church and state we strive to live harmoniously within ourselves, with others and within the places we call home. It's true that we are now in another Satanic Panic, for example as associate of mine Erik Carnell of https://www.abprallen.co.uk/ recently had their work pulled from the shelves of Target in America due to the 'Satanic Connections' of the designer, which is absolutely ludicrous, Erik will be hopefully answering a few questions for this blog soon but as you can imagine the hate mail hasn't stopped from the far right American Christian groups so they're a little snowed under at the moment, send Erik some luv by purchasing something from the site https://www.abprallen.co.uk/ or just send a message of appreciation, we must support our community in times like these (see end of article for more info on Erik's situation).
In the same breathe, I am aware of the controversy at the moment within TST, many congregations and people have not stood by the actions of one of the founding members of TST however I do believe that people are not perfect, I do believe that sometimes people need time to grow and I do feel that the recent push of supporting the S2LGBTQIA+ community from TST will hopefully show that actions are louder than words, one of guiding tenets is, 'tenet 6: People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one’s best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused' I hope we can all learn from this fuck up but look at it from under the lens of the bigger picture and not turn on each other. I absolute see the trans community, I absolutely stand with you but I cannot not stand with others just because my moral ground doesn't necessarily match theirs, I think that patience is a key factor to growth, and I think it's a horrible thing when communities turn on each other and also use political and social issues to benefit themselves rather than actually care for the community... I get very disheartened by seeing people in their own voice boxes shouting at each other and missing the whole point of pride because their so in their own feelings they'll do everything they can to belittle someone or bully someone into making mistakes because they're trying to make the situation better... we know someone 'done' fucked up... does that now mean we all have to reduce ourselves to acting in a way which is the most undisciplined form of oneself? I'm Sick of people taking on issues which frankly have nothing to do with them, like where were the trans voices in all this? Even I myself can speak on behalf of a community by accident, I can relate to trans people in a huge way but I am not trans, i'm a feminine gay guy and 70% of the trans friends I spoke too, did not think this was an issue.

I really hope we can all keep a broad enough mind to see that TST have grown rapidly and are huge now so of course we're going to face teething problems. TST in itself isn't the founding members anymore, it's grown bigger than any one of us. I personally also embrace every Satanist, no matter how far right, how far left, maybe apolitical, everyones voice needs to be heard and everyone can get along in this world, at the moment there's far too much smoke for us to be turning on one another. Even if I get cancelled for this, I want to say I stand by The Satanic Temple HOWEVER of course I support OUR/MY S2LGBTQIA+ community, I studied gender for my final piece at university, gender has always been a sensitive subject for me personally so it's already built into my inner psyche so of course I support trans issues, rights and people but The Satanic Temple have done far more good as a community and if we don't tread carefully we will have destroy it by this mistake, ask yourself: can we not grow? I also empathise with how hard It must be to be a spokesperson of a huge community, I do feel for both Lucian and the trans community, I really again hope both find peace this pride and I hope we can all get along like I know this community can do, rather than bicker and speculate when we're suppose to be celebrating pride this month. Lastly TST have released a statement and the head in question stands with Trans allies. TST is a community, not one person and the heads agree with this. I do not condone bullying and I feel that people are pushing someone who has created so much joy for us into a corner where he can't even breathe, let alone talk. Everyone needs to chill out seriously, there's been a lot of hurt with this and I see both sides but no one has stood up for the head and so I will now do what so many should have and praise both trans people by saying you are not ignored, you are loved and I will stand with you in validation of your very being and I will also stand with TST and say, we are a community, there're many involved in this community, mistakes are made but look at our TRUE SET OF VALUES in this community, the 7 tenets, then you'll find the answer you're looking for, it's not our place to call someone out so viciously, it's up to the trans community, It is our responsibility to look after one another with care and learn from these experiences, we can't pin Greaves as TST or it'd be 'The Greaves Temple'... This is 'The Satanic Temple' and I feel people are being scared of getting cancelled rather than see that, Greaves took a photo with someone... he didn't know who they were... he gets asked to have many pictures taken with him... His response was valid and by attacking our own founder is too much on either side of the pendulum and remember your religion is not Mr Greaves, you are a Satanist firstly, secondly you subscribe to TST's belief system... It doesn't mean you're representing TST's founder... a majority of thelemites don't even like Crowley! It's the message of TST and that doesn't represent one person. The Satanic Temple is an idea not a person and those ideas align with S2LGBTQIA+ values.
So this is what the great unholy sin of pride is to me, the sin that got Lucifer expelled frim Heaven, but like Lucifer says in Paradise Lost "Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven" so even in the current environment, coming together as this 'humanist' satanic community and celebrating our individualism together.
